In Chinese Medicine we suggest following the Chinese clock in order to achieve better balance in life. The 12 main meridians, or energy pathways, are represented in a 24 hour cycle, each meridian influencing 2 hours per day. For example, if following the movement of Qi, we are eating breakfast during stomach time which is 7-9am and asleep by the time we enter Gallbladder time which starts at 11pm. Did you notice I said asleep by 11 not going to bed at 11! We all lead fast past lives in comparison to what our bodies were actually set up for, understood.
