A harmonious nature

Water has memory. Depending on how you treat it, what kind of thoughts and emotions you generate, accordingly it behaves in your body.

-Sadguru

By now many of you have already heard of Masaru Emoto, a famous Japanese author who put forth the idea that one's thoughts and emotions can affect the molecular structure of water. If you haven't seen Emoto's work check out his book, "Messages from Water."

In Emoto's book we are presented with the idea that our thoughts, emotions, and intention carry powerful energy that affect our surroundings; water as an example. I would like to carry the idea further to say that our thoughts and emotions also affect our food, our environment, and the people around us. Thoughts and emotions you have do indeed generate energy and it is this energy that affects all that is around us, either positively, or negatively.

Consider your every day thoughts and emotions. Are they encouraging positivity or fueling negativity? Of course we all will have our ups and downs; a racing, out of control mind at times, or intense emotional responses to experience, this is only an opportunity to bring awareness to your circumstance and direct your thoughts back to a more harmonious nature. You will be helping not only yourself but those around you.
