Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture
Chinese Medicine is a non-invasive method that treats your whole body system: physical, mental and emotional. It clears energetic blockages, improves circulation, and nourishes organs and tissues. This 5,000 year old practice can be instantaneously effective.
Many people are familiar with the fact that Chinese medicine is an age old practice, dating over 5,000 years. What most people are not aware of is that Chinese medicine can be instantaneously effective.
Chinese Medicine is a non-invasive method that treats your whole body system: physical, mental and emotional. It clears energetic blockages, improves circulation, and nourishes organs and tissues; thereby releasing the body from pain, trauma, and stress. It includes holistic therapies such as acupuncture, herbal therapies, and nutrition.

What is special to the practice of acupuncture, within Chinese Medicine, is its effect on the central nervous system or the brain. Placing acupuncture needles along meridians, or energetic pathways, in the body immediately shifts the body from the sympathetic response system to the parasympathetic response system, allowing for healing to take place. Our bodies must be operating in a parasympathetic state to be able to properly rest, to digest food, and to heal.

There are research studies now involving fMRI imagery to see which areas of the brain actually light up when these acupuncture needles are inserted into various areas on the body. For example, when points are placed in the feet to address eye issues, the ocular area of the brain lights up on the fMRI. Acupuncture is definitely working with the brain to heal the body.
